Despite a year of planning to move, I had neglected to ask myself two vital questions: a) Am I hirable? and b) What tools do I need to set myself up for professional success across the pond? 

Classical music concerts can be exciting, engaging, and frankly, beautiful. But one thing we often don’t acknowledge is how intimidating they can be.

One year ago, I was dressed in a ridiculous cap and gown, ready to move my tassel from right to left but terrified to close out the collegiate chapter of my life. My first year of postgrad has been one of the most unpredictable, with a big move D.C. and the start of my first job.
